PD: Early Childhood Education
KET programs can help Kentucky’s licensed, certified, and registered early childhood education professionals earn credit toward state licensing requirements. To earn credits, participants register (generally a small fee is charged to cover administrative and paperwork costs), complete corresponding coursework and activities online or on paper, and return the print materials to KET for verification. PD: Adult Education
KET online self-paced courses help adult learners and educators about GED® Test. In all courses, learners work at their own pace and once all criteria are met, a certificate of completion is available as a PDF at the end of the course. To see when a course is offered, review the course information for each course. There are four self-paced courses in this collection – one for each of the GED® test subject areas. Each offers a review of the basic information about the entire GED® test. Content areas include more detailed information and instructional tips and techniques. Teachers can earn a certificate of completion for these courses.
PD: K-12 Education
KET online self-paced courses help K-12 educators and SBDM council members meet yearly training requirements. In all courses, learners work at their own pace and once all criteria are met, a certificate of completion is available as a PDF at the end of the course. To see when a course is offered, review the course information for each course. Most courses are open for enrollment all school year, while the Intro to SBDM member course is open during four different terms throughout the year. In addition to these courses, teachers and administrators seeking additional PD or EILA credit hours can visit https://www.ket.org/education/resources/ket-pd-self-paced-courses/ for more information about our other free self-paced courses.
